The designer position requires a creative and tech savvy individual whose focus is growing our organization’s brand through various mediums. They will be part of our national marketing team and will work closely with the senior creative director in developing compelling graphics/designs for proposals, presentations and marketing materials while managing our digital asset manager to ensure up-to-date, relevant and organized artwork. This individual must be a motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and have a proven ability to work independently on multiple projects at a time, under tight deadlines, in addition to working with various project teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing materials including brochures, sell sheets, ads, banners, tradeshow graphics, templates, etc.
  • Manage photography and graphics within our online digital asset management system
  • Create and edit videos and manage video repository (Microsoft Stream)
  • Support development of creative and inspiring internal presentations for senior executives
  • Participate in internal Boldt committee activities as requested
  • Other duties, responsibilities, or activities may be assigned at any time

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Creative aptitude; ability to create graphics/designs for proposals, presentations, and other materials
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office and Outlook; Adobe In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop required
  • Experience with video creation software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition
  • Solid photography skills; including shooting, editing and enhancing photos
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to work successfully and thrive in a team-based and fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with other people at all levels
  • Exhibit confidence, humility, empathy and a positive attitude
  • High level of professional maturity and confidentiality
  • Ability to make sound decisions
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed Basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and procedures
  • Committed to continuous improvement

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or applicable technical discipline related to Boldt’s core business.

Without a degree, three to five years of relevant experience

Travel

Moderate travel may be required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and hear. The employee regularly is required to walk and reach with hands. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee frequently uses computer keyboard, regularly travels (as vehicle driver and as passenger on various modes of transportation), and occasionally performs work on-site at construction work sites. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee views computer monitor frequently.
