Global Sr. Payroll Specialist
What You'll Do:
- Process multi-state semi-monthly payroll for 350+ employees utilizing ADP Workforce Now ( must have ADP WFN experience)
- Process international payroll for Canada, United Kingdom, Singapore and Australia for over 100+ employees utilizing Blue Marble payroll and coordinating with local payroll services providers
- Review and process time sheets for all non-exempt employees utilizing enhanced time and attendance system
- Maintain and update employee records on the payroll system by reviewing and entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, deductions, direct deposit, titles, departmental transfers, and payroll related corrections
- Calculate and process terminations, new hires, leave of absences, salary increases and retroactive payments
- Manage employment verifications, garnishments, IRS levies, and other miscellaneous items as necessary
- Correspond with US federal, state and local agencies
- Respond to payroll questions from employees. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Partner with ADP to ensure accurate and timely payroll tax reporting and compliance with state and federal regulations within the U.S.
- Prepare payroll journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes, such as annual payroll tax and payment summary reconciliations and audit support
- Assist with year-end financial audit related to payroll, annual 401K and Workers Compensation Audits
- Provide backup support and assistance to Payroll Manager
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll of 100+ employees and reconciling all deductions, including, 401K, flexible spending plans, etc.
- 3+ years' experience utilizing ADP WFN
- Experience utilizing ADP time keeping systems
- Experience implementing payroll and timekeeping systems
- Knowledge of US federal, state, and local tax and labor laws
- Familiarity with Foreign payrolls including UK, Australia, Canada and Singapore
- Experience with preparing payroll related journal entries
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to adapt and take initiative to resolve problems and proactively help the team when needs arise
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills, and diplomacy
- Ability to work independently and partner effectively with other team members
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and advanced Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
