The Biossance skincare team at Amyris is looking for a skilled eCommerce marketer to join the team to drive rapid growth of Biossance.com and its global counterparts. This role will be focused primarily on developing and executing strategies to drive online sales, conversion, engagement and digital innovation. The ideal candidate will have a retail background and the ability to be flexible and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced, fast-growing business environment. This role will report to the Senior Director of eCommerce.

Responsibilities
    • Together with Senior Director of eCommerce drive revenue driving strategies to meet forecasts and budgets.
    • Collaborate on strategy for Biossance.com customer journey & experience.
    • Own campaign strategy and cadence: promotions, assortment strategy, product launches etc.
    • Analyze customer and site visitor analytics and present key learnings and opportunities for improvement at weekly team sales meeting
    • Be a key player, collaborate with team on Enhancement Roadmap: make data-driven decisions and derive insightful UX enhancement hypothesis that will optimize shopping experience and drive conversion + engagement.
    • Continuously share sound UX test hypothesis to improve customer experience and work with the cross-functional teams to execute them as A/B tests to continuously optimize creative design and conversion performance.
    • Evaluate vendors, apps, and tools that can be used to enhance the customer journey on the site. Report and share recommendations to all teams.
    • Constantly evaluate and drive business to achieve sales goals
    • Work collaboratively across Creative, Marketing, and Development to ensure site and email business objectives and KPIs are consistently achieved
    • Drive innovation, new initiatives in eCommerce space to drive conversion/revenue and press-worthy callouts
    • Support eCommerce Manager that manages site content updates, promotions experience set up, product activation process, and site merchandising improvements
    • Help eCommerce Manager ensure the accuracy of merchandising, product information, promotions and site banners on the production site at all times


Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
    • 8+ years of site, digital marketing experience (ecommerce preferred). Previous success working in fast-paced, fast-growth B2C businesses.
    • Strategic + Hands-On: Experience crafting strategy as well as tactical implementation. Experience with HTML preferred
    • Data-Driven + Excellent Communication Skills: Strong analytical skills analyzing large data sets and turning them into actionable insights. Experience with A/B and multivariate testing preferred. Experience with enterprise-level site analytics platform preferred (Google Analytics, Coremetrics, etc.)
    • Experience with enterprise-level A/B testing platform preferred (Optimizely, Monetate, etc.)
    • Detail-oriented, flexible with an ability to multi-task and juggle shifting priorities
    • Organized, strong project management skills with proven track record of delivering high quality work under tight timelines
    • Self-Motivated + Team-Oriented: works well independently and collaboratively with all levels of the organization
    • Decisive + Accountable: Must demonstrate sound decision-making and ability to react quickly under pressure. Operates effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Entrepreneurial and has a strong work ethic
