    Sodexo is currently seeking a General Manager to join our team overseeing CHI St. Luke's Memorial Lufkin Medical Center, part of a 9 hospital system.  Oversight will include 2 locations - a facility in Lufkin, TX and a second facility in Livingston, TX.

     

    This position will report directly to the District Manager, and will be responsible for day to day leadership of the food and nutrition services at CHI St Luke's Memorial Lufkin Medical Center. Sodexo will provide our best in class services for patient dinning, retail café operations, on-site catering and physicians dining.  Seeking candidates with strong experience in regulatory readiness.  

     

    As our General Manager, your responsibilities will include:

    • Overseeing all day to day food and nutrition services
    • Full integration with our client's organization becoming a trusted adviser and member of the accounts leadership team
    • Achieving company and client financial targets and goals
    • Work to achieve continuous improvement in patient satisfaction scores

    Position Summary

    Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
    Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree           

    Basic Management Experience - 5 years              

    Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
