    We are currently seeking a General Manager 3 for Defiance Regional Hospital.  Defiance Regional Hospital is a 25-bed, acute care hospital serving the health care needs of communities in six counties. The department uses At Your Request Room Service for patients and has a Fresh Inspirations Cafe.  The department has 12 employees.  Position will oversee catering, cafeteria / retail food sales as well as Patient Services.This position will also be responsible for organizing and creating catered events for the hospital and surrounding partners.  We are seeking an individual that has high expectations and willingness to learn.

     

    The campus includes: inpatient psychiatric services, Level III trauma center; accredited chest pain center; Level I obstetrics and nursing unit; and a medical office building for physician offices.  Defiance Regional Hospital is part of the ProMedica Health System that is a locally-owned, nonprofit health system providing quality health care services to 27 counties in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.

    Position Summary

    Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
    Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 3 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
