    Sodexo has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Food Services General Manager 3 to oversee the Patient Dining, Retail Cafeteria, Catering and Vending services at an acute/long term care facility located in Winchester, KY.


    This position is at Clark Regional Medical Center, a 60 bed facility.  Will manager a Sodexo Chef and two Sodexo Dietitians.  Hourly employees are also on Sodexo payroll.


    The ideal candidate will: Be proficient in use of online Food Management Systems for menu/recipe planning, ordering and inventory; Demonstrate proven financial acumen/success: Food costs/ labor costs, budgets. Be a people person with a strong focus with maintaining positive client relations; be a multi-tasker, organized, innovative and an effective leader who can motivate their staff. Customer focused– including providing excellent customer service in a welcoming environment. Ideal candidate will have strong managerial, culinary, retail and catering skills. Successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills. Candidate will have a working knowledge of catering, retail and patient services. Knowledge of Sodexo systems such as FMS, UFS are preferred.

    Position Summary

    Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
    Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 3 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
