GENERAL CLERK

Primary Responsibilities:  Concurrent Technologies Corporation (www.ctc.com) is seeking a full-time General Clerk in Crystal City, VA.  At CTC, you will work in a dynamic environment with other motivated, talented individuals who inspire one another in a team environment.  

The selected candidate will:

  • Serve as the primary POC for guests
    Serve as the primary POC for the Office landlord
  • Develop, implement and monitor general office operating procedures in compliance with corporate policies
  • Ensure retention of appropriate office records and files
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Coordinate with CTC Property to organize and conduct an annual physical inventory of the facility's equipment
  • Maintain office inventories and order needed supplies
  • Support meeting planning, scheduling and preparations

 

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the office emergency coordinator
  • Support new employee office orientation, assisting with completion of employee forms
  • Solicit and compile data to develop standard operating procedures for the office
  • Provide limited computer and IT support for the CRYSVA Office
  • Support meeting minutes documentation

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma plus additional coursework equivalent to a degree in relevant field.
  • Experience in providing skilled office management and administrative support
  • Demonstrated skill in use of a personal computer and a variety of word processing software packages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in office management and administrative support
  • Knowledge of computer systems and components.
