    Sodexo is looking for a Food Operations Manager 2 in Eagleville, PA

     

     

    Eagleville hospital is a 300 Bed Drug and Alcohol facility located in Eagleville PA not far from Valley Forge Historical Park and Norristown Pa. Eagleville's mission is to provide comprehensive, person centered behavioral health treatments for those suffering from substance abuse disorders, co-occuring medical and psychiatric conditions and mental illness. We are in a growth phase which includes construction and redesigned of our 54 acre campus.  Future plans include a neighborhood concept enclosed in 2 main buildings designed to accomodate 350 residents.  This is a departure from traditional sytem of meal delivery currently applied.Hours for this position are Monday through Friday 10am-7PM with weekend rotations.

     

    We are looking for a Food Operations Manager 2 interested in making a difference and grow with us.  The right person will oversee and direct a staff of 20-25 employees.  they will be a hands on mentor, coach and leader in support of their staff and be accountable for all budget contraints, production, service, training, safety, governmental guidelines, company standards reviews and corrective actions. 

    The right person will be conscious and caring of the challenging populations needs and dedicated to helping fullfill those needs while striving to create a better experience through campus development.  They will need to continually help to provide better solutions wether they be staffing, transport, logistics etc..  as we grow and develop a better brand.

     

    The ideal candidate will support the Sodexo CARES values and lead by example.   Culinary experience including purchasing, inventory, menu planning are all integral to our future expansion/ renovations plans along with computer skills including MSOffice/ Excel, organization and prioritizing will be beneficial.  Leading by example, teaching and guiding staff are keys to our success

    • can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

    Position Summary

    Provides leadership and supervision for the on-site food service exempt and non-exempt level staff in the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client. Provides supervision for food services at account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the company. Implements business practices in order to uphold company mission, values and commitments made in the Sodexo client contractual agreement.
    Key Duties
    - Establishes a safe work environment

    - Utilizes Sodexo tools and programs to develop client, customer, and staff relationships,  to ensure account retention

    - Implements and fully utilizes all Sodexo tools and programs to ensure financial outcomes

    - Directs daily operations of food service to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources, ensures operating standards and regulatory requirements are met

    - Develops and implements plans, projects, with defined objectives, methods, timetables and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plan

    - Ensures adherence to all HR standards for Sodexo, client, and  regulatory agencies
     

     

     

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
