    Sodexo is seeking an experienced Executive Chef 3, Food for a benchmark university located in central Idaho.  The Executive Chef will serve as the culinary leader on campus.  Operations include residential dining, concessions, catering  and retail dining programs.  Our goal is to strengthen the campus sustainability program and expand our portfolio with providing new services.  We are seeking an Executive Chef with strong leadership skills, a strong mentor/leader to his/her staff who will work with them to achieve the strong Sodexo standards for our client. 


    *  RELOCATION  available for this position. **


    We are looking for candidates who will:

    • have oversight of day-to-day operations;
    • deliver high quality food service;
    • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
    • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
    • develop strategic plans;
    • create a positive environment; and
    • ensure Sodexo Standards are met.


    The ideal candidate will have previous success managing in a Sodexo Universities Dining or Business Dining program - solid foundation on Sodexo systems, a strong focus and passion for food - quality and presentation and will need to have good understanding of customer service, retail management.

    Position Summary

    Provides culinary leadership within a large sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training.  Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution. 
    Key Duties
    - Implements & coordinates the culinary function. 
    - Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
    - Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.
    - Manages catering & retail areas.
    - Customer & Client satisfaction.
    - Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
    - Manages food & physical safety programs.


    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree 

    Basic Management Experience - 3 years   

    Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
