    Sodexo is recruiting a strong Environmental Services Operations Manager/ Data Project Manager for Methodist/HCA Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. This is a multifaceted position and requires the following:


    • Analyzing and compiling 3rd party hospital survey results related HCAHPS and Patient Satisfaction
    • Review department results data and work to develop action plans
    • Review results of Food Services and Environmental Services standards and compliance to increase patient satisfaction
    • Manages Sodexo software, processes and programs for development of client dashboards.
    • Manages patient satisfaction programs for multiple departments.
    • manages department front-line training and orientation of staff and serves as a Subject Matter Expert of non technical training expectations and competencies
    • Provide centralized point of contact for any team member or patient with department related questions or concerns.
    • Manages support staff accommodations and ensures protocol and procedure are followed for credentialing of non HCA staff
    • Assist with setting up of the audio/visual (not repairs) or any trade materials associated with strategic meetings (locate materials, prepping for meeting and getting AV up and running before meeting time starts).
    • Manage department inventory, assignments, payroll changes and training records .

    The right candidate must have strong attention to detail, great communication skills and the ability to present in front of senior leadership. 


    *this will be an In-House position and on-site at Methodist Hospital in the Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas

    Position Summary

    Functions at an account/unit providing two or more core services (facilities/engineering, food or custodial). Responsible for managing employees in multi- service areas in a single unit. May assume GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence
    Key Duties
    - Manages operations and monitors department KRI’s and rounding for multiple service areas by fulfilling contractual obligations.

    - Supervises day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.

    - Probes potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate Sodexo resource when necessary.

    - Performs basic HR duties; hiring, counseling, terminations, employee issues, and training.

    - Provides positive and constructive feedback to employees in order to reward, coach, correct and motivate


    Qualifications & Requirements

    Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree  

    Basic Management Experience - 2 years

    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending)
