Arnold & Porter is seeking entry-level patent litigation associates (JD 2020) to join the Intellectual Property Practice Group in our Denver, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, or Washington, DC office.

The Intellectual Property Practice Group is made up of 140+ attorneys who advise clients along the life cycle of their most important assets—spanning patents, copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, trade secrets, and related issues. Our Patent Litigation team combines proven trial and appellate experience, strategic approaches, and technological knowledge to enforce and defend our clients' patent rights, particularly in the life sciences and technology industries. Attorneys work on matters for clients such as Adobe, Boston Scientific Corporation, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Crocs, GE, Google, Motorola, Novartis, Pfizer, and Samsung.

Ideal applicants should have a record of outstanding academic achievement, superior writing and analytical skills, relevant work experience, participation in law review, journals, clinical legal work, and/or extracurricular activities, with a demonstrated interest in intellectual property litigation, and preferably academic or professional backgrounds in a scientific or technical field.
