This position supports our annual donor events program. In this role, you will support high-profile donor events, other stewardship activities and amenities. Using excellent interpersonal skills and a detailed approach, you will work to engage high-level donors through upscale and engaging events. You will serve as a central contact to event speakers, attendees and staff to facilitate a coordinated recognition and engagement plan to Rotarys most significant donors.


You Will Have

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent required

  • Minimum of 3-years of experience in development or a related field; prior donor relations, donor event, or volunteer management experience, strongly preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service to high-level donors and leaders

  • Computer literacy; proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

  • Fluency in a second language, a plus

You Will Be Responsible For


Your overall responsibility will be the support of a dynamic donor events program that engages and recognizes donors through events, amenities and customized donor experiences. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Serve as the primary contact to develop engaging digital and physical communications for Arch Klumph Society events, International Convention donor events and virtual donor events

  • Support and maintain data for Arch Klumph Society ceremony selection process

  • Communicate directly with honorees and attendees on event details and planning

  • Provide event planning and logistical support for all in person and virtual events

  • Support event registration process, including creation and testing of events registration module

  • Process event registrations for International Convention donor events

  • Facilitate coordination of printed materials for all donor events

  • Create and administer event evaluation in order to monitor the satisfaction with the program

  • Oversee and distribute post-event communications and keepsakes

  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, Rotary senior leadership and colleagues

  • After-hours (evening and weekends) work required while supporting the events

  • Other duties as assigned. This may include, but are not limited to, vendor management, event-related data analysis and supporting other special events and projects
