General Overview



This position supports the Donor Engagement team, responsible for international targeted fundraising and stewardship communications based on the strategies of the Donor Engagement team at Rotary International. You will have the opportunity to identify new fundraising opportunities around the world, create and implement philanthropic communications, and steward our existing international donors. Your contribution will serve to strengthen our annual fund, assist in meeting annual fundraising goals, and help donors feel appreciated.


 


You Will Have



  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent)

  • 2-3 years experience in a nonprofit organization

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, donor management software (BI, Raisers Edge), and mass communication platforms (Adestra)

  • Creative writing and fundraising experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with Rotarian leadership, international donors, program alumni, and international office staff

You Will Be Responsible For


Creating regionally specific fundraising and stewardship communications



  • The focus of these communications is to identify opportunities for regional philanthropic communications worldwide based on existing fundraising and membership trends worldwide. Main responsibilities include identifying international fundraising opportunities, creating tailored fundraising and stewardship materials for international prospective Foundation donors, and collaborating with international office staff for the successful regionalization of communications.



Performing analysis of completed communications



  • Once each communication is complete, this role is responsible for analysis and tracking the engagement and fundraising performance to inform future communications and possibly additional testing.



Identifying new international communication possibilities



  • In collaboration with our Global Communications team and our International Office staff, this role will need to find new philanthropic opportunities for additional communications.



Engage program alumni, Rotaract and Interact participants with The Rotary Foundation



  • Find ways to fundraise with our young leaders, steward existing young donors, and identify Rotaract clubs that are eligible for special certifications of achievement.
