The Director of Land Development is responsible for all aspects of master-planned communities from the design and engineering to homesite sales and marketing.

• Manages inter-disciplinary design and development team including engineers, designers and marketers to create and sell property in master-planned communities.
• Establishes financial business plans and annual company plans for assigned communities for review and approval. Stewards project expenses and revenues throughout the fiscal year.
• Negotiates and contracts with homebuilders to purchase homesites.
• Negotiates and closes sale of commercial land in communities.
• Influences and approves the marketing plan for each community.
• Serves as president of the homeowner associations.

• BS degree in engineering, accounting, land planning, marketing or other related field required
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in project engineering, development or marketing preferred
• Valid drivers license and a good driving record
• Proficient with computer programs and a working knowledge of new technology such as iPads
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
