The Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for professionally and effectively assisting PURECANE customers via email or call on any order, product, ingredients, or brand inquiries daily. They will be in communication with key managers in all areas of Purecane departments (Operations, Logistics, Planning, QA, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Sustainability and PR). The successful candidate will be pro-active and problem solve to achieve the best customer service for every customer at all levels.

Responsibilities
    • Responding in a timely manner; avoiding calls going to voicemail during business hours, and email responses.
    • Finding the appropriate answers to all requests, whether product and sweetener related or technical questions.
    • Escalate all issues to the Customer Service Manager on a timely basis when the Food Expert cannot answer the customer's request.
    • Managing multiple customers at one time, as needed.
    • Analyzing any problem presented and quickly developing a logical solution.
    • Understanding ordering, returns, and exchanges on the PURECANE.COM platform.
    • Working as part of a team, sharing any appropriate information and ideas.
    • Using only the approved PURECANE messaging and company information to share with customers, as appropriate.
    • Building customer's interest in the services and products offered by PURECANE.
    • Making every customer serviced want to return to PURECANE for future purchases through personalized service.
    • Recognizing, documenting and reporting trends in customer calls.
    • Link-sell additional products when appropriate.
    • Confidentiality on all PURECANE information not approved for customers.
    • Participate in weekly Customer Service team conference calls.
    • Monthly Customer Service Recaps to capture high level communications.




Qualifications
    • Understanding of Food and Beverage industry & Product is a plus.
    • Computer literate with the ability to learn customer service software applications.
    • Adept in using computer search tools, browsers, email features, on-line schedules, tracking, and attaching files.
    • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to comprehend and interpret basic customer information.
    • Ability to treat people with respect under all circumstances.
    • Ability to adapt to change, meeting the changing demands of the work.
    • Punctuality and dependability in schedules and commitments.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Good social skills, with a genuine positive attitude and behavior.
    • Experience in a service position responding to customer questions and concerns.
