HX5 is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator II to support the corporate office in Fort Walton Beach, Florida


 


Summary


This position is responsible for the administration of contracts and subcontracts. Performs a variety of complex tasks and advises internal departments regarding contract requirements. Position prepares contract documentation and performs contract closeouts.




Essential Duties and Responsibilities


This position includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Works with Contract Director to ensure contract compliance, reviews terms and conditions, and ensures enforcement on contract start.

  • Develops and edits subcontracts, Associate Contractor Agreements (ACAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Teaming Agreements (TA).

  • Examines drafts of contract performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Advises internal departments of contractual rights and obligations to fulfill contract requirements.

  • Reviews subcontracts for conformity to Teaming Agreement (TA) requirements and determines acceptable contracts.

  • Researches contract issues and monitors contract performance versus contract requirements.

  • Requests amendments to or extensions of contracts directed by Contracts Director.

  • Maintains contract and contractor status databases.

  • Reviews all correspondence concerning contractors and responds as necessary.

  • Responds as necessary to customer, prime and subcontractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract process.

  • May provide direction to junior level associates in contract close-out processes.

Education and/or Experience



Bachelors degree from accredited university and a minimum of three (3) years government contracting, operations, program management, or industry experience preferred. Master's degree preferred. DoD specialized acquisitions experience required.



 


Language Skills


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government contracts, federal clauses, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.


 


Computer Skills


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contract Management systems; Database software; Project Management software; Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. Experience with Deltek software a plus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


 


Travel


This position does not require travel.
