Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Responsible for the reduction of inventory write-offs through the implementation of plans and processes with an emphasis on Hospital Consignment accounts within the AIC Division; Coordinate logistics to conduct the physical inventory of field accounts, timely account reconciliation and reporting out key assets and inventory results.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Manage and report/support national plan to address shelf life product for AIC Division.
  • Manage major HC accounts to ensure process is being followed.
  • Proactively coordinate and perform physical inventories associated with consignment inventories and inventories maintained by sales reps.
  • Reconcile, maintain and analyze inventory balances associated with consignment inventories, and with sales rep inventories.
  • Leverage Sales group accountability with routine follow-up and the confirmation of compliant process implementation.
  • Design and distribute meaningful monthly reports that provide accurate information regarding inventories, shortages and overages.
  • Document and sign-off on all write-offs and write on’s associated with overages.
  • Researches and resolves discrepancies on accounts.
  • Daily utilization of the inventory management system (SAP) to reconcile discrepancies on the system to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Maintains files for field audits.
  • Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in Quality Manual
  • Must embody the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values

Required:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business, Logistics or Engineering.
  • OR Five years of inventory management experience
  • OR Three years inventory control experience in an automated warehouse environment.
  • Above average computer literacy with a working knowledge of the following is highly preferred:
  • Inventory control systems (SAP)
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of SOP/GMP requirements.
  • Knowledge of Lean material flow, planning and scheduling preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, as a team player, and team leader.
  • Ability to motivated and energize others.
  • Effective Communicator.
  • Ability to teach and train.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Language and mathematical skills; reasoning ability:
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect date, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
