About The Role:

As the Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for creating content and marketing campaigns that engage customers and elevate the ARC brand. In addition to developing, writing and editing ARC's marketing and operational content, you will serve as the primary point of contact for email campaign strategy. You will collaborate with key internal stakeholders to create effective communications that support ARC's business objectives. Additionally, you will leverage customer insights and marketing analytics to create effective communications that support customer engagement, build brand awareness, promote industry thought leadership and drive new customer acquisition. In this highly collaborative role, you will work closely with others within the department, including the Marketing Programs Lead, Marketing Intelligence Analyst, Digital Marketing Manager and Product Marketing Managers.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Develop, write and edit ARC's marketing and operational content, including emails, advertising, customer newsletters, web copy, social media, customer notifications and other communications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for email campaign strategy — ideating, creating and executing email campaigns and content to drive adoption, long-term customer satisfaction and brand affinity. Builds, tests and deploys email communications, ensuring the use of appropriate branding, style and tone.
  • Advise internal and external business partners on complex, multi-tiered marketing initiatives, aligning individual business unit and product marketing plans with ARC brand-level marketing strategy.
  • Leverage a deep knowledge of customer insights and data to inform ARC's customer communications, ensuring the consistent application of ARC's brand, voice and visual identity across the entirety of the customer journey.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify new opportunities to optimize ARC's communications. Define best practices for the email creation process and maintain/update supporting documentation and resources. Incorporate the appropriate digital channels into broader campaigns. Create campaign-specific content that complements ongoing marketing initiatives and supports the goal-setting, measurement, analysis and outcomes of such campaigns.


You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English preferred)
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to be persuasive in both oral and written communications. Strong writing and editing background and knowledge of AP Style
  • Expertise in campaign strategy and deployment. Must be confident in using marketing automation platforms to build, test and execute email communications
  • Ability to design and execute strategic email campaigns that resonate with high-value audiences
  • Experience planning, prioritizing and managing workload independently while communicating clearly and tactfully with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully create, maintain and drive an efficient project plan
  • Experience navigating multiple projects with various deadlines and stakeholdes
