Job Title: Client Service Specialist (ITM) Part-Time


Department: Retail Banking


Reports To: ITM Manager


FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


 


Previous Banking experience is not required. This part-time position offers benefits including paid holidays, 401k, dental and vision coverage, and is based at our Creve Coeur Branch.


 


Summary: Responsible for conducting financial transactions and ensuring a positive and efficient interaction between clients and the bank, handling routine client inquiries and problems, and maintaining favorable client and employee relations via the Interactive Teller Machines by performing the following duties.


 


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Denotes key responsibilities.


 



  • Follows client service procedures to ensure the highest standard is consistently met.*

  • Receives and processes checking and saving account transactions including mortgage, consumer and commercial loan payments.  

  • Notes and verifies significant information as required by bank policy and procedures.*

  • Ensures that the banks procedures are followed when performing transactions on the teller machines and other equipment as required.*

  • Maintains favorable client relations through proper handling of all collection and disbursement functions.*

  • Exercises discretion, judgment and initiative regarding transaction problems and inquiries.*

  • Verifies and balances assigned cash drawer daily with minimal cash variance.*

  • Receives and answers questions on bank transaction services and procedures while maintaining good client relations at all times.*

  • Discusses routine problems related to checking and savings transactions or bank services.*

  • Directs clients to appropriate employees for answers or assistance when you have exhausted every effort to assist them on their inquiries.*

  • Assists bank personnel with questions and the status of accounts, bank statements, charges and interest in a courteous manner fostering good employee relations.*

  • Maintains the confidentiality of clients account information.*

  • Follows established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and requests.*

  • Performs overrides for Tellers on transactions that an override is required.*

  • Responsible for making sure the branch balances daily and by approving ATM files and Image track approval.*

  • Maintains favorable customer relations.*

  • Open New Accounts via Video Banking Software

  • Provide Client Service via Video Banking Software.*

  • Assists in the development of manuals and support documentation to accomplish tasks and duties inherent in this position.

  • Approve End of Day ITM and ATM Deposit Files

  • Review to make sure all branch capture files have been approved.



Scheduling Requirements: Must be able to work weekends. Must be able to close at 7pm during the week. This position offers 24-28 hours/week.

Reasoning Ability:


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Use good judgment.


 


Computer Skills:


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; internet software.


 


Education/Experience:


High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
