Summary/Objective: 


 


TheBusinessDevelopmentSpecialistis responsible for planning and executing all aspectsof company in person and online marketing events, generating marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and ensuring conversion KPIs are met. This position will work closely with marketing and sales to ensure a positive ROI is being attained. Additionally, this position is responsible for various aspects of TI client outreach, to include the management of all company condos. This position may also assist the Marketing Department with general responsibilities as needed. 


 


Responsibilities:  



  • Research and recommendeventsthat effectively align with sales and marketing goals that reach targeted audiences to find new prospects¬†

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining theeventcalendar¬†

  • Register and picklocation for each event¬†

  • Responsible for adhering to seteventbudget; responsible for auditing and reviewingeventexpenses monthly and ensuring the SF campaigns have the correct expenses in each¬†

  • Build third party relationships with professional organizations, show contacts, etc. to execute successful events¬†

  • Responsible for pre-event, onsite, during event and post show organization, tasks, activities and overall MQL ownership through conversion to a sales opportunity.¬†

  • Build and maintain SOPs for each event type¬†

  • Maintain data accuracy in company CRM¬†¬†

  • Maintain condo calendars for each of our company properties throughout the year¬†

  • Continuously communicate with the property managers/cleaners on cleaning schedule and to ensure condos are well kept¬†

  • Visit company condos several times a year to ensure condos are in good order¬†

  • Make sure guest resource book is updated each year¬†

  • Make sure each condo has parking passes and wristbands¬†

  • Responsible for all aspects ofInvite Process. Pre-Client Stay, Post Client Stay organization, tasks,activities,and overall ownership¬†

  • Build and maintain SOPs related to Client Outreach¬†



Preferred Education and Experience: 



  • Bachelors¬†degree inBusiness, Communications, or Marketing or equivalent knowledge and experience required¬†

  • A minimum of 3 years in¬†marketing or sales coordination & planning¬†preferred¬†

  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills¬†

  • Must be very organized and detail oriented¬†

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business contracts.¬†

  • Ability to analyze and calculate figures such as discounts, proportions, and percentages.¬†¬†¬†

  • Ability to apply basic algebra.¬†¬†

  • Thorough knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.).¬†

  • Must be able to appropriately exercise independent judgment.¬†

  • Possess the ability to multi-task in multiple software systems (Salesforce, Outlook, GoToMeeting, Teams).¬†

  • Physical¬†effort:position requires ability to set up 10x10 trade show booths. Must be able to lift 30 pounds unassisted consistently. A continuous and rigorous pace is to be expected duringbusinesstravels. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.¬†



Position Type/Expected Hours of Work 


 


This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for trade shows and conferences.Must be able to travel 25-30% for trade shows/conferences.This position is located at our HQ in Emerald Isle, NC.
