Overview

** Location: Flexible**

The Business Analyst contributes to the design and implementation, and provides ongoing support to key business information systems to help WWF-US Country Offices have the tools needed to strengthen their operations, make good decisions, and achieve their goals. This function will have a focus on financial systems implementation and reporting, and additionally provides regional coordination to country IT functions.



Responsibilities

  • Work with WWF-US Country Offices to understand their financial reporting needs. Develop strategy to organize, prioritize, and deliver those reports, taking into consideration the relevant timelines and systems available for use.
  • Develop reports in the new enterprise resource planning (ERP) application and ensure smooth transfer of existing report capabilities to the appropriate future tool guided by the strategy mentioned above.
  • Work with the Training Lead of the new ERP system to develop and deliver training materials in Country Offices.
  • Provide general technical and business support in the rollout of the new ERP to Country Offices and WWF Headquarters where appropriate.
  • Work to integrate data from WWF-US systems with other systems used by our WWF Network for centralized, enterprise reporting. Ensure resolution of data conflicts between systems and within systems’ data universe.
  • Work with WWF-International’s Integrated Information System (INSIGHT)team and WWF-US to provide support on system requirements and development around Risk Assessments and Safeguards to insure a consistent approach.
  • Provide regional coordination and support to IT function including matters of cyber security, coordinated processes, and major systems rollouts.
  • Assist on the documentation of complex business processes to ensure consistency of process and usage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; business or finance-related educational experience preferred.
  • Experience working with a global workforce
  • Ability to understand and document complex business processes and optimize them
  • Ability to understand complex datasets and transform them into information for the Business owners to use via customized reports
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems/applications
  • At least 5 years of experience working with ERP systems;
  • System proficiency in one or more of the following systems is desired: Adaptive Insights, Workday, a robust grants management tool, general database management
  • At least 3 years of experience developing business reports; experience with Tableau preferred; experience with Adaptive Insights reporting and/or Office Connect strongly desired
