What we're looking for in you
- 10+ years of Drafting/Design in mechanical construction industry or AEC experience with BIM/CAD training.
- 10+ years of experience with construction techniques and field limitations
- 10+ years of experience with detailing and coordination software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication and Navisworks
- 3+ years of proven experience building, leading, coaching, and developing a team
The purpose of your role as a BIM/VDC Manager
As a BIM/VDC Manager, you will manage the St. Paul BIM/VDC team which generates data rich models and drawings for most of the company's work. Coordinate and manage personnel who perform the modeling, detailing & coordination of mechanical systems. Work with both internal and external stakeholders and define BIM/VDC scope, review RFPs, BIM/VDC execution plans and other contractual documents to ensure accurate and timely delivery. Represent Harris BIM/VDC to clients and project partners.
