Working Title Assistant Director - Benefits

Job Summary

Eastern Washington University is seeking an Assistant Director of Benefits. This position reports to the Director of Benefits and is a division of the Office of Human Resources. The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Benefits in administering the university's insurance and retirement programs. The Assistant Director will be responsible for assisting in the development, recommendation, and implementation of policies and procedures relating to all insurance and retirement plans in compliance with appropriate regulations, laws, and University policies; ensuring federal compliance of IRS codes for participation in the voluntary investment plan in relation to the university's retirement plans; establish and initiate procedures and processes involving EWU retirement programs.
