As a key member of the Channel Analytics & Operations Team, this position is primarily responsible for accurately implementing contract discount programs to support calculation, execution and reporting of wholesaler distribution fee payments.

This position is responsible for ensuring the payment process, documentation and execution are performed in accordance with US Contracts and Pricing Operations, Government Pricing, Sarbanes Oxley and other applicable policies. This role requires close collaboration with several cross-functional groups including Trade, IS, Pricing, and Government Pricing. This position operates within a fast-paced environment and the ideal candidate will possess the ability analyze data, ensure reconciliations are validated and exercise appropriate business judgment.

Responsibilities include participation of planned and ad-hoc key initiatives across multiple Amgen agreements as well as working with outside vendors in collaboration with the department lead, and IS to implement operational solutions.

Specific Responsibilities:

Provides analyses and recommendations to support decisions by team management

Delivers formal presentations; communicates effectively within department

Translates data into meaningful information to support business decisions

Identifies ways to support team members

Represents team with cross-functional groups within Contracts & Pricing

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

OR

Associate's degree and 4 years of Contract and Pricing operations experience AND/OR Sales

Operations experience AND/OR Finance experience AND/OR Project Management experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 6 years of Contract and Pricing operations experience AND/OR Sales

Operations experience AND/OR Finance experience AND/OR Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Internal Amgen experience or experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment

Advanced computer & M/S Office skills with emphasis in Excel. Develops spreadsheet models for moderately complex financial analyses.

Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong presentation skills
