Job Details:
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
1. TAH Infrastructure:
  1. Implements Global IT policies (covering ERP, front and back office support application, hardware, and internal controls), standards & baselines to ensure a consistent and secure infrastructure. 
  2. Responsible for communication network design and integration as well as building, maintaining, and executing a strategy for securing all elements of local technology infrastructure including computing hardware, desktops, mobile devices, cloud and back office infrastructure (server, network, firewalls, email) and security
  3. Continuously drives down the cost of IT operations through thorough evaluation of business needs, negotiations with vendors and leverage of group volumes, keeping in mind market conditions. Accordingly, prepare and manage the overall budget for the IT function keeping in mind the required resources to achieve the goals and objectives agreed for the year 
    2. TAH ERP Applications Ó Transactional & Informational:
    1. Proactively and effectively communicates and collaborates with the user community to address ERP needs and requirements across TAH, TMC, TCVS, MVI and TLAC operations
    2. Enhances business processes through the development of relevant solutions to meet business needs
    3. Supports best practices for the deployment of SAP within TAH
    4. Takes accountability for supporting local projects to ensure that they are delivered on time, on budget and to the agreed to requirements
    5. Maintains standard systems development lifecycle frameworks and deliverables by which all IT projects will be managed
    6. Manage major IT and business initiatives as assigned, including but not limited to mergers & acquisitions, definition and local implementation of global standards, and highly complex business applications
       
      3. TAH IT Supporting Applications
      1. Proactively and effectively communicates and collaborates with the user community to address the need for ERP bolt-on and other integrated applications which have relevance across Terumo operations in the Americas Assesses and analyzes the needs of the business units and recommends priorities for systems design and implementation including computer operations, data management, systems design\/analysis, systems programming, application programming, networks and technical support
        1. Supports manufacturing systems infrastructural and application requirements through standardization to the extent feasible in order to drive leverage on enterprise wide knowledge and costs. 
          4. TAH IT Security:
          1. Implements Terumo global security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security and migrates security architecture to the desired future state.
          2. In accordance with global guidelines leads the implementation of security best practices, monitors and manages security incidents, and remediates security vulnerabilities IT software and systems.
          3. Collaborate with Terumo global IT in respect of security design and planning of enterprise wide networks, technology infrastructure, platforms and applications to ensure appropriate levels of risk.
          4. Reviews and assesses security architecture to determine areas of vulnerability or flawed design.
          5. Advises Global IT and corporate leadership on risk based and right sized security measures.
          6. Implements best practice procedures to ensure a uniform security architecture throughout Application Development, Operations and Infrastructure.
          7. Collaborates with business units across TC to ensure global acceptance of and adherence to security.
          8. Provides technical assistance to Compliance as required for ITAC\/ITGC Controls & JSOX 
            5. TAH Disaster Recovery Planning:
            1. Partners with Global Risk Management to develop and execute an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan with respect to IT installations and applications
            2. Ensures team can provide 24x7x365 support for recovery, security incidents and critical functions within the shortest time-frames possible at the least cost 
              6. Additional responsibilities and ad hoc IT system duties as assigned.
