Description **Job Description:**



Responsible for Technology Project Management and Scrum Master leadership for medium to large sized programs and projects. Performs project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades conversion and recovery. Role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projects. Manages multiple projects or a single major project. Coordinates resources within and across projects and has matrix management responsibility. Engages early in the program and project life cycle to assist with developing technology strategy for the individual projects. Responsible for project technology estimates, plans, organizes, monitors and controls technology requirements and delivery for projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion.



Partners across Service Provider leaders to ensure delivery of technology solutions. Develop and socialize potential operational risk mitigation strategies for the technology elements. Effectively communicate with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed. Establishes project tasks, timelines and budgets. Manages technology resources and budgets for the project. Partners with the program and project managers to develop and transition plans and technical designs, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Applies technical knowledge in determining end to end design requirements for large projects involving line of business, software/hardware developers and vendors. Work closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives and existing systems infrastructure. Drives and participates in design, development and implementation of large and complex enterprise wide applications, often using new technologies. Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needs. May manage projects including responsibility for a project and project budget. Works under minimal supervision on enterprise wide projects requiring creative solutions. IT degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience. Leads daily standup calls, sprint review meetings, user story grooming sessions, sprint retrospective meetings. In charge of sprint and release planning. Generally requires 7-10 years experience.



**Required Skills & Experience:**



+ Strong technical knowledge and experience in working in complex technology engagements

+ Strong executive presentation skills

+ Must have practical Agile experience and Agile Certification (CSM, PSM or equivalent)

+ Must be flexible and support tasks other than Project Management

+ Develop project plans, major tasks and milestones using scope, resources, budget and personnel as criteria

+ Coordinates and performs detailed technical and business analysis one or more efforts of high complexity

+ Define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout project life cycle

+ Develop functional & business requirements, technical specifications and design documents, workflows, use cases, perform data analysis

+ Knowledge of PMi, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile (SCRUM), and/or Six Sigma (Lean) methodologies

+ Must be detailed-oriented, results-driven, highly energetic and motivated. Must have a high degree of independence, this position is responsible for thorough, high quality deliverables utilizing best practices project management tools and methodologies to ensure on-time on-budget delivery along with optimization of production system availability and stability

Serves as secondary contact to senior department managers for critical change initiatives and provides assistance to staff. Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Accountable for initiatives limited in scope to department products, processes or functions although some may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. Accountable for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. Develop and socialize potential risk mitigation strategies. Effectively communicates with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed. Partners with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change. Responsible for Clarity and PCM updates and project documents. Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Typically 3+ plus years of project management support experience.
