Description **Job Description:**

The Corporate Audit Anticipatory Risk and Targeted Review - Topical team is a dedicated team within the Bank of America Corporate Audit department focused on conducting reviews that proactively address risk, emerging industry trends, and readiness of key business strategies and initiatives. Additionally, this team includes a predictive analytics team that helps determine the areas of focus to get ahead of issues.

As a Senior Auditor I Associate, you will independently execute assigned audit activities. Responsibilities include:

• Utilize sound analytical skills and product, business, and technical expertise to execute assigned responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with scoping audit activities

• Evaluate impact of control deficiencies, and expand and refine control deficiency documentation to drive actionable business impact

• Influence management on sufficiency of corrective actions and recommend audit rating

• Exercise judgment; build influence with business partners and begin to apply deep and broad business acumen

• Develop functional business or product knowledge, excel at risk/reward trade-off

• Identify control trends in assigned business areas, as well as impact to the business and to the Bank overall

• Basic project management skills

Required Job Skills:

• Bachelors degree

• Minimum 2-3+ years in an Audit, Risk, Business Control, Compliance, Finance or related experience

• Ability to plan, execute and evaluate audit test plans within a risk based audit methodolog.

• Strong understanding of financial accounting and related control objectives

• Sound organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills

• Self Starter, desire to learn and able to teach others, high energy, positive attitude, exhibits flexibility.

• Strong analytical skills. Ability to analyze large amounts of data and turn it into usable information.

• Ability to work in a very detailed manner and look broadly across a population to develop connections and themes

• Ability to juggle multiple work efforts and quickly change direction, if needed

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products

• Ability to converse with management on all levels

• Able to travel as needed

Desired Job Skills:

• Advanced degree or certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.)

• Strong presentation skills

• Experience with Data Analysis Tools (Tableau, SAS, SQL)
