Description **Job Description:**



Counterparty Credit Risk Analytics (CCRA) is a function within GBAM Risk. The group’s primary function is to ensure adequate controls and processes exist to validate the firm’s Traded Products activity for the purposes of Credit and Capital (Basel) calculations.



Within CCRA, the Data Controls and Integrity team is responsible for the data validation of the current state (ARCTIC) and Target State (Quartz) Traded Products repositories, which are used for Basel RWA capital calculations. The Basel Control Framework requires accurate representation of the bank’s Books and Records in all RWA capital calculations performed. ARCTIC and Quartz are also utilized for a number of other Credit and Collateral Management processes, requiring the team to manage other project and BAU work streams as well.



**Roles & Responsibilities**



+ Work with technology and other business partners to develop and maintain robust data controls within Quartz.

+ View the Credit and Capital environment from a holistic stand-point, and be able to identify inter-connecting issues.

+ Oversee a number of Sub-Ledger reconciliations across different asset Asset/Liability classes and be able to handle all day-to-day inquiries from numerous downstream stakeholders.

+ Address data gaps, execution of tactical and strategic solutions.

+ Work to ensure certain trade and indicative data is complete, accurate and received on a timely basis.

+ Liaise with Middle Office and Legal Entity Controllers on reconciliation, with the view to resolving all outstanding breaks..

+ Provide written business specifications for technology enhancements.

+ Perform User Acceptance Testing.



**Requirements:**



+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Math-related field

+ Minimum 3years of post graduate work experience gained in a Banking, Finance or Accounting environment.

+ Experience in Finance, Credit Risk, Data Reporting.

+ Strong Traded Products knowledge, with exposure to Credit Risk and Basel rules.

+ Middle Office and Back Office experience a plus.

+ Background in data analysis and reporting metrics to management required

+ Proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point is required

+ Ability to work well in a team environment, Confidence and ability to work with all level of management.

+ Highly detail oriented and organized – Candidate can identify and resolve issues quickly and accurately.
