Merrill Lynchs financial advisors help clients pursue the life they envision through a one-on-one relationship with a financial advisor committed to their needs an advisor with access to the investment insights of Merrill Lynch and the banking convenience of Bank of America. The Resident Director (RD) of an associate office performs a dual role, serving as both a Financial Advisor and Leader/Manager. An associate office covers a single market and must have 10 or more Financial Advisors or 4.5 million in revenue. The role as leader/manager is quite involved and can include an array of responsibilities to be determined between the RD and their Complex Director (CD). Levels of involvement typically vary across associates given critical factors such as office size, distance to parent office, complex strategy, etc. Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, strong coaching abilities and a desire to be involved with the community. The ideal candidate should possess a strong planning background, professional designations, and a desire to work in a diverse environment. Series 9 & 10 will be required, but not a pre-requisite to interview. Series 3, 31 where indicated. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have a desire to grow the branch office through training, hiring and recruiting and be capable of actively coaching on practice management with experienced and newer Financial Advisors. Must currently be serving in a Financial Advisor role or in another Resident Director position.
