Sodexo is seeking a Per-Diem Registered Dietitian and licensed in Nevada, to come join their dynamic team at Mountainview Hospital, an acute care facility a 340 bed hospital, with  located in Las Vegas, Nevada.  This Position is scheduled to work as needed for a variety of patients providing care.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a registered dietitian with 1 year of acute care experience and be responsible for the nutrition care process, including comprehensive nutrition assessments, appropriate interventions, educations, and interdisciplinary care planning for patients and prior food management and room service experience in a health-care setting a plus
• Provide training and nutrition education in a variety of patient settings
• assist with being a primary liaison between Food & Nutrition Services and patients, and actively participate in department Performance Improvement projects
• Have excellent communication and customer service skills

Knowledge of nutrition care principles for acutely or chronically ill patients/residents within specialty areas (e.g., pediatrics, diabetes, cardiovascular). Excellent communication and counseling skills.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
