Responsibilities:
The Processing Services Representative is assigned accounts specific to a client, which may change from time to time. The focus of the position is to perform clerical duties such as review and process various types of transactions, conduct data validation, data entry, and/or other process type functions for client’s accounts.  Specific processes and procedures for the position will be dependent upon individual client assignment. 

The essential functions for the position include:
•Learns, understands and appropriately applies various client and account type programs, as well as applicable regulatory requirements and rules.
•Uses intuitive computer systems and applications to perform assigned clerical duties.
•Compile and verify accuracy of information from various sources based upon assignment.
•Sort information according to priorities based upon criteria defined for the assignment, and prepare source data for entry into systems. 
•Accurately enter data of various types of customer and account information (text and numerical) from source documents into systems within assigned time limits agreed upon and established for the process by the client and Performant management. 
•Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.
•May make phone calls to various entities to validate information and/or status of certain processes.
•Effectively follow procedures and instructions for assigned client processes and apply data program techniques for systems.
•Review account data and status or process accounts in accordance with guidelines provided.
•Maintains strict confidentiality of client data.
•Effectively escalates questions or process issues to supervisor.
•Arrives to work on-time, works assigned shift(s), and maintains regular attendance. 
•Follows and complies with company and departmental policies, processes and procedures.
•Responsible for utilizing resources to ensure compliance with client requirements as well as any applicable federal or state regulations.
•Successfully completes, retains, applies and adheres to content in required training as assigned including, but not limited to, client and/or departmental training, system or application training, information security and privacy, anti-harassment and other compliance and policy/ procedure trainings.
•Consistently achieve or exceed established productivity, quality, compliance or other metrics and goals assigned.
•Demonstrates Performant core values in performance of job duties and all interactions.
•Correct areas of deficiency and oversight received from quality reviews and/or management. 
•Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Required Skills and Knowledge:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
•Comfortable in a fast-paced office environment performing multiple tasks cohesively, with keen attention to detail.
•Strong data entry skills with high accuracy.
•Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to listen, be succinct and demonstrate positive customer service attitude.
•Solid skills and adaptable to using various office technology; computer, various applications and navigation of on-line tools and resources, keyboard, mouse, phone, headset.
•Ability to apply knowledge learned in training from various forms (memos, classroom training, on-line training, meetings, discussions, etc.).
•Ability to follow process, procedures and regulations in the workplace.
•Ability to effectively perform work independently, and work cooperatively with others to promote a positive team environment.
•Ability to adapt quickly and transition effectively to changing circumstances, assignments, programs, processes. 
•Ability to consistently perform job responsibilities.
•Operates with unwavering professionalism and ethical standards
•Possess a positive attitude, is hard-working and proactive. 
 

Job is in a busy standard office environment with moderate noise level, sits at a desk during scheduled shift, may make and return calls using an office phone system; views a computer monitor, types on a keyboard and uses a mouse. Reads and comprehends information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed). 
•Sit/stand 8 or more hours per day; reach as needed to use office equipment
•Consistently viewing a computer screen and types frequently, but not constantly, using a keyboard and mouse. 
•May only occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 10lbs.

Education and Experience:
•6-12 months of relevant experience demonstrating requirements for the job
•High School diploma or GED preferred
 

Other Requirements:

•Must submit to and pass background check. Must not have any Federal or State liens resulting from County, State or Federal tax issues. •Must not have any current defaulted student loans. •Must be able to pass a criminal background check; must not have any felony convictions or specific misdemeanors. 
•Performant is a government contractor. Client assignment for this position may require additional background and/or clearances.
•Must submit to and pass drug screen.
