Description **Job Description:**



Part of a team that develops, implements and manages the adoption, alignment, and adherence to internal data management policies and standards (i.e.: the Enterprise Data Management Polices and Standards) and external regulatory requirements. The team performs an enterprise function covering all of Global Banking and has responsibilities related to the governance of credit data; communicating and coordinating the impacts of enterprise data priorities; monitoring the health of Wholesale Credit Data and driving improvement and remediation efforts; facilitating data definition and delivery ensuring all requirements are met across the supply chain; and responsibilities related to Metadata standards, maintenance, quality control and reporting.



This position requires close working relationships with teams internal to Global Banking Data Management, Technology support partners, other businesses Data Management teams, Global Banking Operations and Credit Process teams, Enterprise Data Management, Audit/Compliance, etc., as well as subject matter expertise in various aspects of data management. Key responsibilities include the assistance and support of:



+ Data Dictionary – lead efforts to maintain and enhance the Wholesale Credit Data Dictionary including governance, oversight and maintenance; ensure compliance with and alignment to EDM standards, regulatory/CCAR/Model related initiatives; partner with technology teams to ensure alignment with target state architecture design; support integration with strategic tools/processes, as applicable; ensure that documented elements support required business processes and target state platform development

+ Provide support of the following:

+ Enterprise Data Management (EDM) compliance activities – assessment of compliance and driving out plans to close identified gaps across all EDM Standards;

+ Data Quality Reporting and Dashboards –monitoring health of Wholesale Credit data and driving improvements and remediation efforts, where applicable;

+ Data Sourcing/Provisioning – establishment of required governance and oversight for data sourcing and provisioning

+ Metadata Management – support metadata management and adherence for Global Banking based on enterprise and GB-specific requirements



Required Skills



+ 3+ years experience in data management

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ Proven ability to balance strategic and tactical initiatives

+ Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence and partner with teammates across functional and organizational boundaries

+ Proven ability to work with technical and non technical business teams

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

+ Self-starter; strong sense of ownership & ability to create and execute plans without daily oversight

+ Able to navigate the enterprise / source information across multiple functions

+ Highly organized; able to effectively prioritize and balance multiple efforts in a fast-paced, regulatory driven environment

+ Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, etc) experience and general understanding of data relationships

+ 5+ years of experience in financial services in business analyst or delivery-based role



**Desired Experience/Skills:**



+ Wholesale Credit experience, including underwriting experience and/or familiarity with Wholesale Credit policies and procedures

+ Familiarity with Wholesale Credit systems (e.g. GUS, LIQ, AFS)
