**Job Description**





One of two Community Market regional leaders. Direct report to the Community Market Strategy Executive (CMSE). Works in partnership with Community Market Strategy Executive to influence, assess, and evolve the Community Market strategy. Responsible for driving strategy, business goals, and performance results, and managing regional financials. Develop and lead a team of Community Market - Market Development Managers to promote sustainable growth and increase focus on recruiting, broader adoption, and breath of relationships across the enterprise to better serve clients. Foster collaboration with Market Executives and Office Management Team within the region to drive Community Market strategy. Drive execution of key strategic initiatives. Extensive travel, typically 3+ days per week. Position can be located anywhere in the country as long as it is near a major airport. **Must be licensed (7, 66, (63/65) 9, & 10).**











The successful candidate will be an experienced, dynamic leader, with strong coaching and mentoring abilities and a strong commitment to the client experience. S/he will be a proven recruiter and committed to promoting Community Market business growth/development by demonstrating the ability to connect with Market Development Managers and ML Market leadership to implement strategy. Courageous leadership skills coupled with disciplined process management and strong collaboration across the enterprise is critical.











**Major responsibilities:**





•Lead the region to achieve the business goals, leveraging a team of Market Development Managers in collaboration with ML Division Executives, Market Executives, Administrative Managers, Client Relationship Managers, and Resident Directors (if applicable)





•Develop a productive team of Business Development Managers through mentoring and coaching





•Drive regional performance results specifically but not limited to census growth, household acquisition, recruiting and credit and lending opportunities and through planning, leading, and executing strong recruiting processes and sales and service behaviors





•Manage regional financials, including profit and loss management, client and revenue growth, and loss prevention





•Partner with specialists and vendors across the enterprise to ensure full capabilities are available to the client





•Collaborate with business partners and navigate the organization to help resolve client and advisor problems





•Interact with clients on an advanced level in support of relationship management, sales activities, account information, procedures, systems and range of financial services products





•Manage risk and ensure all team members protect the interests of the firm while enhancing the client experience





•Promote and recognize performance; adhere to the performance management process, policies, and tools





•Oversee community and market affairs to increase visibility of the “brand” and enhance new and existing business opportunities

Acts as an objective advisor to LOB heads across the set of COO functions.
