Description **Job Description:**



Bank of America-Merrill Lynch is currently seeking an International Equities Analyst to play a key role as part of due diligence team of about 20 that selects third-party investment managers for client investment. This position is focused primarily on non-US equity strategies including emerging market, global, multi-asset and real asset strategies. The candidate must have strong research and communication skills, an ability to develop and articulate insight, and a strong understanding of global financial markets. This is a Vice President level position based in lower Manhattan.



The ideal candidate will have a background in / knowledge of equity securities, due diligence, and / or investment strategy, preferably with a non-US/global equity focus.



**Responsibilities Include:**



Assessing investment/fund manager skill through qualitative and quantitative analysis combined with in-person and phone interviews



Writing and editing comprehensive investment manager evaluations and presenting recommendations to investment committees



Preparing insightful and opinionated communications in a timely manner regarding material manager events, implementation ideas, market developments, performance issues, etc. to internal advisors and business partners



Delivering proactive ongoing support to internal/external business partners, including meeting with specialists and financial advisors



Serving as a subject matter expert for international equity markets, strategies under coverage and the competitive landscape



Participating in project management implementation



Traveling (approximately 10%)

**Qualifications/Desired** **Skills**



5+ Years of experience in financial services (such as asset management, investment bank, endowment/pension fund, rating agencies, manager due diligence, etc)



A team first approach that wants to meaningfully contribute to a collaborative working environment



Significant knowledge of equity markets (preferably including experience with global and international strategies), fundamental valuation analysis, financial modeling, asset allocation, and market research



Demonstrated analytical skills who can build and defend well supported investment opinions based on insights drawn from interviews, intellectual curiosity, data analysis and peer group awareness. Additionally, the individual must have an ability to concisely deliver these insights both verbally and in professional written form with little required editing.



Organizational and time management skills in order to meet deadlines



Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of investment-related statistics



Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point



Degree Required



MBA, MS, JD, or other relevant advanced degree preferred



CFA Charterholders or candidates preferred, or willingness to work toward CFA designation



Series 7 & 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses are required
