Unit Description
Sodexo Health Care Services provides essential food and facilities services to hospitals across the country. We’re seeking a Food Service General Manager at Carney Hospital in Boston, MA. Leading the food and nutrition services at this 159 bed hospital, the General Manager will be the single point of contact for client liaison and will manage a Clinical Nutrition Manager, an Operations Manager and 40 client front-line employees. #LI
The ideal candidate will be well versed in patient services and driving patient satisfaction, improving the Retail operation, culinary functions, food and labor cost controls, while also having a passion for patient engagement.The ability to articulate ideas, thoughts, opinions professionally and clearly within all levels of the organization is critical. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:
- Integrate fully within our client's organization becoming a trusted adviser and member of the accounts leadership team
- Achieve continuous improvement in patient satisfaction scores
- Meeting (or exceeding) Sodexo standards of operations (Gold Check)

Position Summary
Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree
