Unit Description

Sodexo’s university segment is seeking a General Manager 3 of Dining Services for EF International Language Centers, located in sunny Miami Beach, FL. EF International is a global language school that teaches English as a second language.


As our GM, you will oversee a $1+ MIL account in a P&L offering dining services to include Resident Dining, Retail Dining and Catering reporting to the area general manager. You will oversee a staff of 20 hourly associates.


The Ideal candidate has:

  •  General Management experience in Campus Dining - this position develops strong relationships with key representatives at the School and delivers guest services that exceed customer expectations. 
  • Solid Retail and Resident Dining food service operations - these skills are critical to the success of this position and measured by outcomes in financial management, employee satisfaction, client and customer surveys. 
  • Strong culinary, retail and board plan skills.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
