Description **Job Description:**



The FICC Risk Horizontal program aims to define and deliver the strategic Risk platform for the FICC business umbrella (Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities, Credit, and Mortgages). The program centers around a standard Risk computation framework called Remote Risk, which has been built on the organization’s strategic technology platform, Quartz. The team owns responsibility for developing the core Remote Risk software, defining and documenting usage principles and standards, and working collaboratively with product-specific technology teams as they adopt the framework for their trading units.



We are searching for an individual with project management experience who can assist with executing the governance routines required to manage the program. While project management skills are primary, financial product knowledge and a wider range of technical skills are preferred.



+ Preparing project update slides and materials

+ Setting agendas and chairing project update meetings, sending minutes, capturing actions

+ Track progress of milestones and actions against dates

+ Collaborating with product-aligned technology teams as they drive adoption of the platform



+ Strong communication and presentation skills

+ Independent/self-motivated

+ Attention to detail

+ Financial product knowledge in one or more of the following product areas is desired: Fixed Income, Credit, Commodities, Mortgage Backed Securities, Foreign Exchange



MS Powerpoint, MS Visio, Confluence (JIRA/Wiki), other project management software. Any additional technical skills or experience (SQL, scripting) are a benefit but not required.



_Manages multiple related and interdependent projects and technology change initiatives specific to corporate change initiatives that have significant impact on how the company does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Project responsibility requires responsibility for staff and budget. Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources. Ability to analyze present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Creates a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control. Ensures clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key program/project roles. Demonstrates knowledge of end-to-end business process into program planning and deciding processes. Develop, maintain, and report on an overall integrated delivery plan. Management experience with small teams. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes. May or may not manage employees. Typically 3+ plus years of project management support experience._
