1. Understand the market trends, system architecture, challenges and competitive landscape as well as technical and business requirements and competitive solutions for the target applications.

2. Identify the strategy, challenges and care-about of the customers and the customers’ customers.

3. Communicate and sync up with sales, segment marketing, system architects and specialists within   Xilinx in Japan and abroad. Discover system level Xilinx solutions which address the challenges and care-about and provide differentiated benefits for the customers.

4. Create system level selling proposals. Demonstrate and convince system values of Xilinx solutions.

5. Uncover and develop new opportunities through good market and technical understanding.

6. Work with the sales team to drive customers and distributors to expand Xilinx businesses.

7. Train distributors and partners for Xilinx products and solutions.

8. Penetrate and establish strong trusted partnership with customers.



Qualifications

1. > 5 years of experience as field application engineer and pre-sales in the semiconductor businesses.

2. Advanced communication/presentation skills in Japanese and English (verbal and written) are must.

3. Professional capability in creating and presenting proposals effectively to customers is a must.

4. Experience/knowledge in datacenter applications is preferred. (not mandatory)

5. Knowledge about ARM processors, x86 processors, DSP and GPU are desired.

6. Experience and understanding of design flow and tools for FPGA or ASIC are highly preferred.

7. Hands on experiences in C, C , Verilog would be preferred.

8. Project management experiences with various teams in Japan and abroad is a plus.

9. Understanding of business strategies/steps and good teamwork with sales, marketing and engineers.

10. Self-directed and highly motivated person with sense of ownership and accountability.

11. Experiences in any applications ( COM, AVB, Consumer, ISM etc.) is strongly preferred.
