Who we want:

The Mission Advancement Data Coordinator is an autonomous and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about non-profit work in Austin.  You will work with the UWATX Director of Data and Evaluation to efficiently store, manage, and analyze data sets using more than one database management tools and/or software systems. As a member of the evaluation team, you will bring a solid understanding of and hands-on experience with data-base management systems, and will strictly follow ethical and professional principles for data storage, access, and analysis. The Data Coordinator will have experience in customizing and implementing database software systems in accordance to the end users information needs. As a member of the Mission Advancement team, you will work collaboratively with other team members to build and sustain our collective programming efforts.  This is a regular, part-time position (20 hours a week).

What youll bring:



  • Associate's degree from an accredited university or college required.

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college preferred.

  • At least 2 years of experience working with database and data analysis systems such as Apricot and SPSS.

  • At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong experience in creating effective, clear charts and visual representations of data results.

  • An ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced work environment.
