Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or business unit. Functions managed may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication. May consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many associates. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices. May have full management responsibility over a team or may manage one level of managers.



The Wholesale Credit Business Management & Strategic Planning team provides key functional and strategic support to the Wholesale Credit organization. Key areas of coverage include: financial budgeting and expense management, real estate/workspace coordination, support of key personnel processes, business continuity, management of enterprise compliance policy areas, access/systems management, and coordination of projects that support key priorities within Wholesale Credit



The **Wholesale Credit** **Business Support Manager** will be accountable for multiple functional coverage areas mentioned above and provide general business support to the broader organization as needs arise



Wholesale Credit partners with GBAM and GWIM client coverage teams to manage the overall credit relationship and facilitate the internal end to end credit process. This includes: origination, underwriting, approval and monitoring the overall credit relationship. Wholesale Credit is involved in numerous transformation initiatives, driving a tremendous amount of change across the organization



**Responsibilities include:**



+ Support strategic growth and tactical workspace needs across the Wholesale Credit location footprint; partner with existing LOB coordinators, WC Managers and the Corporate Workspace team on solutions

+ Establish operating model and drive compliance with key enterprise policy areas of coverage including the Enterprise Records Management and Enterprise Signor/Notary policies; Actively manage areas of coverage once established

+ Support Wholesale Credit Business Continuity program; coordinate response activities and provide leadership during events to ensure strong communication and ability to maintain business capabilities

+ Build strong relationships to partner effectively with a variety of constituents (Line of Business Leaders, Global Human Resources, Compliance, Audit, and GBAM COO, etc) to execute on areas of coverage

+ Support other Wholesale Credit business support activities and projects as needed



**Required skills/qualifications:**



+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communicates clearly and crisply

+ Applicants should have ability to navigate large complex global organizations and partner accordingly, preferably with knowledge of commercial credit

+ Strong business acumen and problem solving skills; ability to analyze problems, recommend options, and execute solutions

+ Detail oriented and highly analytical

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in an ambiguous environment or an environment where priorities may change quickly
